1915 Luger mark?
Ok, guys thanks for your thoughts on this beast.
Do you think that the crown over m is an Erfurt proof? I wasn't sure and just through that out there, because it is similar to some of the Erfurt proofs. The grips are marked 62 on the inside and have what looks like a W mark, but aren't imperial marked.
I'd need a sear assembly marked 62, Tom, if you have one.
If this were a reworked police issue could the replacement sear assembly have been done at that time and would they have used an Erfurt sear assembly?
There is no sear safety on the gun, but it does have the hold open and the mag. no. doesn't match the rest of the gun.
Thanks again for the help. I'm sorry about the photos not being real good, for some reason when I uploaded them they became smaller although they weren't over the limit, not sure what caused that.
