Put up some pictures so that we can see the gun. But the matching numbered wood magazine is a red flag as they were not wooden during that period, at least to the best of my knowledge. Maybe alum. or even bakelite not numbered to the gun in 1942?
What's it worth? Whatever you can sell it for in a really tough market. It should sell for $1000 easily, but $1250 might take a bit longer. Depends on lots of variables.
Check completed searches on GunBroker to determine what it is worth. Then check Simpsons Ltd. to see the blue sky price.
