I would say "Yes" because you always run the risk of breaking a serially numbered part when you are shooting an all matching Luger. And if you break a serially part on a matching Luger, you will drop the value of the gun by 30 to 50%. (in my opinion)

I would say "Not much." If it's mismatched and still looks "okay" to you, then the next thing to look at on your "shooter" is probably the condition of the bore.
They are fun to shoot.
