Micah..Take a tad bit of money and buy a good Luger book. ANY Luger book. If you are planning to spend a grand on a Luger... you need to become familiar with what to look for.

Ed Tinker..the fellow just above.. has written a very good book on "Simson Lugers", It would be as good as any to give you some exposure to these fascinating firearms. Buy a book from Ed..it will pay off tremendously, will be great reading , become part of your gun library and will be more valuble when Ed runs out of them. http://www.simsonlugers.com
