Let me add an addendum , some Reichswehr tools were marked with a unit mark, but I have only seen 1 or 2. Marked as #. / ##.#. much like the markings found on the Lugers.

As Tom states, Reichsmarine tools do have Marine markings. Tom is the go to guy for Navy stuff.
