I have a 1917 LP.08, sn 9868g, marked 1.G.G.12.9 which signifies: 1. Kaiser Alexander Garde Grenadier Regiment, 12 Kompagnie, Waffe no. 9. It is shown on page xxv of Imperial Lugers, Second Edition.
