The map is from a 1932 German atlas and represents Germany as of 1925 (see legend on endpapers of HWIS). According to this Wikipedia article (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M%C3%B6nchengladbach), the name was München-Gladbach from 1888 to 1950.
