Commercial Lugers, with the exception of alphabet Lugers, do not have a suffix. Commercial Lugers are five digits with no suffix (small letter) and alphabet Lugers (which are also commercial) are numbered somewhat in the military style; four digits with a small letter. In 53 years of collecting Lugers, I have never seen a five digiti commercial with a small letter.
