yea i was thinking about using wool but wasnt sure if it would damage it at all ,, i am working to get my camera working to post some pictures because i know with the picture pricing would be hell of alot easier but yes its byf 41 with wooden grips and no sadly the mag isnt matching but everything else is matched .. i figured 2 grand was on the high end of my asking price but ive heard people selling them for 3 to 5 grand. but i was leaning on 1500 to 2000 would be more appropriate.. i love the gun to death and really dont want to sell it but im about to go to college and the extra money would help. i dont know why but if i do sell it im looking to get another historic pistol to have maybe a p38 or something a little smaller. the luger to me is the most futuristic looking pistol and it has a good center gravity for pretty accurate shooting but i guess its design was made in a time where weapons were concealed.
the history of my luger is placed in france i think where my grandfather walked off his navy ship and took this nazis luger and helmet .(my dad still has the helmet and it is too small to fit on my head and im not a big person at all 5'8 so im guessing this nazi was someone close to being 15 years of age and died from a bayonett in his back. i was also wondering if any one knows if the nazis used there pistols alot and am wondering if this luger was likely to have killed a person. i may never know but to have something with so much history is impressive, and sometimes a chilling effect.
