Jarrod, you can clean up a luger with some gun oil and 0000 steel wood, being very careful. But you really can't gfet rid of the blemishes except by cold blue or the like and that would be inappropriate and wrong to do.

Pictures (good clear ones) could help us helpt you figure out the value, but 2 thousand sounds high in todays market for a 41 (byf ?)

Does it have a matching magazine?
