Mark, the grip strap marking is a property stamp for the Bavarian 19th Infantry Regiment, 9th company. It was weapon number 12 of that company. If the "R" is cursive it is the reserve 19th regiment. Early 1913's were not made with stock lugs or hold-opens. All units in the german army except Bavarian and Wuertemberger had their early Lugers retrofitted with hold-opens in 1913/1914. As a Bavarian piece yours would corrcetly not have be modified.
The grip plates should be checkered walnut and should be numbered on the inside to the pistol.
