I observed that early commercial holsters like the 1900 and 1906 for 4 3/4? barreled Lugers have a patent fastener (push- button) on the tool pouch as on the first photos while 1906 and 1910 commercial holsters for the 4? Luger have the brass button as we know on the military holsters.
There must be a reason for it.
