I'll go out on a limb here and say that if it were in front of me now I'd be looking at a fig'gur between $1150 and $1400 depending on closer inspection and whether the internals match. Value certainly depends on if you are buying or selling, and to whom, collecter or retailer. Most gun shops would offer well under $1000 because they have to keep the lights on, etc.
It is definitely a keeper, in need of a bit of cleaning, oiling, holster repair (Jerry Burney, of course) etc. Shoot it if you must, but break a numbered part and "it'll cost you".
I'll be interested to see what the other members chime in at.
