I think he'd turn it down
I had a banner that was probably pristine before the owner left it in his pickup for 20 years ratteling around. Ted took one look and said, "Ed, it'll always look beat up". In other words, he'd have to have welding, drawing and finsihing for a gun that would cost more than it would be worth....
Maybe for a 1904 Navy it would be worth it
