There is no need for you to insult the original poster of this thread who was intelligent enough to ask a good question about a gun he was thinking of purchasing, nor me.
Although the serial numbers on the front of the frame of the 1916 LP-08 seem to be a bit too large, I still think that the 1918 LP-08 looks like a righteous gun. In any case, its price is a correct opinion to your original question regarding the softness of prices in Lugers. Since these guns were sold, I was not offering a sales pitch. I was offering examples to help you out with your massive confusion and lack of self confidence. But I totally understand your predicament given your lack of maturity.
