Much of the legislation proposed above, sounds like what is currently reality in Kalifornia. No personal transfer of any gun without going thru a transfer dealer, who will charge at least $25 for the service, plus the fee that he has to send in to the state for the compliance check. Also in Obamaland (Illinois) every gun owner is required to have a state issued FOID (Firearms Owner ID) card, even to look at a gun or ammo at a gun show, and must wait one to 3 days to pick up a purchase from the TRANSFER dealer doing the state check, who will also charge a fee. So, most of the proposed federal legislation is not new to some of us; it just makes gun ownership more of a hassle and more expensive. TH
