Over the years I have seen several with the Pickelhaube. A point of interest is that the Pickelhaube shown on the matchcover is of a municipal or civilian type Pickelhaube, not military. These match box protectors in brass were almost all made up after the war and sold to occupying American Doughboys. The German soldiers did carry similar items but the decoration is always of a different nature and the material is almost always steel
