Cool Thanks to J. Sabato for his 2006 link to theuncleguns.com

While searching old posts I came across one for "Sniper Artillery". Very interesting photos of Luger based creations. The Man from U.N.C.L.E. references were many, But John posted a link to theuncleguns.com. I went to this site, saw the guns and gear being reproduced today. Must be a good market judging by the prices and variety. What struck me was the entire 4 years of the show is available on DVD. I was 11 yrs old when this premiered, a very impressionable age. This show along with 'Combat", "Gallant Men", "Burke's Law" and "Honey West" etc.. can definitely create a subliminal mindset whose origins I am just now starting to understand. Last year I purchased all 5 seasons of "Combat", what-a-series. What they did on a weekly basis, Hollywood Turds today COULD NOT do in 6 months for less than $100M per episode. Anyway, I called Frys Electronics, and 3 hours and $173 later I had 105 episodes of The Man From U.N.C.L.E.. Tame, compared to today's CG fantasy, but consider it being viewed in 1964 by an 11 yr old. I nearly cried when the Army dropped the M14 in favor of the M16, but I digress. If you want to see a lot of Lugers, MP 40's, K98's and tricked out P 38's and M1 carbines not to mention alot of good looking women then this is the show for you. best regards Joe
