Don,
you really didn't take as many photos needed to make assessment. It looks to be a military issue WWI era. Most likely DWM 1913-1914. It looks to have halo's on the barrel stampings, so it might be original. The BO-31 stands for B�¶hler steel and the 31 is the hardness mark

Can you photo left side close up, top and any other markings you see.
the Magazine appears to be an extruded WWII type with a replacement base.
