George A & Farmer T, I believe that you'll find something in the section concerning the production of new weapons. As I recall, new pistols (except for replacement of one of the 100K allowed) had to have bores of less than 9mm and no longer than 98mms. TH PS: Most if not all of the long (up to 22 inches) barrelled 20 commerical that we see, had the long barrels installed here in the USA by either Stoeger or Pacaific Arms. They would also rebarrel to 9mm in various lengths with "Germany" marked barrels supplied seperately (thus the need for the country of origina marking) by DWM. TH
