I'd love to see the bases of the magazines. I am not disagreeing with Howard, but I call them replacement magazines, made for the commerical market. Since they were only selling lugers to the army and police in the Weimar period, I assume "commericial" meant to the police.
I estimate that only about 30-40% of police guns received "unit markings"
HPWEVER, yours is unit marked, that is the S.P.L. marking, these guns were just marked differently.
