Default Portuguese holster and rod

Well, it certainly looks, feels and smells old and came with an nice example of an original cleaning rod (with even smellier grease remains inside).

The holster is double lined, has the A.E stamp and shows signs of repair at the flap. The name of a previous owner is almost invisibly present on the rear right hand corner. Can't make out the name (yet) but at least it looks Southern-European to me

Comments are welcomed as this is not my particular area of expertise.
