I have this Swiss holster, but know nothing else about it ...

branch of service, etc.

Stamped on back, is what looks like;
SATTLER
FLAMAIT
42

The mag pocket is on the forward edge, like a German holster.

I have more detailed, closer pix ready to link, if anyone wants more to identify this better;
