The American language has been ursurped on many an occasion, especially in the last 40years with popular culture and music playing a large role.

I do not normally use the word clip when I mean magazine..many others, even fellow shooters and those in the gun culture do. I accept it, translate it to mean magazine and go about my business.
Wayne, Patrice is correct, Gerald Tomek in Phoenix AZ is the man you need. Not only does he make a beautifull wooden mag bottom you cannot tell from an original but he has a 9MM stamp for the bottom he will put on.
I might also add that he is very reasonable on his prices.
