Try removing the grips and see if you still have binding... if you do, then carefully file the grips to provide a relief from the binding during the loading operation.
If you still have binding after removing the grips...Relieve the magazine, NOT the frame UNLESS it does this with more than one magazine? that means the frame is deformed...
Then and only then do you relieve the frame where the binding occurs...
Use candle smoke to put soot on the magazine and frame (NO GRIPS INSTALLED PLEASE) and then put the magazine in to see where it is binding...(no smoke left) dress those areas with a jewelers file until the binding is relieved.
If you are not confortable with using a file on a handgun that you own... DO take it to a gunsmith...
