Hey loogie, I grew up in Minnesota and have been to Wisconsin quite a few times. Maybe we met there.

I have seen many E/655 and a few E/135 Waffenamt Marked wooden grips. I have seen maybe one example of a S/42 marked grip.

I don't have a clue why the Germans started and stopped numbering the grips like they did!!
