Default Progress report....

What I started with.....

What I ended up with.....

What I have left over......

Several months ago I bought a batch of Luger parts off of Gunbroker to attempt assembling a complete gun. A fellow board member installed the only good barrel and headspaced it, I got new grips off ebay, a spring kit from Wolf, and a few other small pins and parts from Numrich and finally have a firing Luger. No numbers match and there are no numbers on the take down lever, sideplate, extractor, and toggle link. The lower is quite badly pitted as is the side plate but the upper is in fair shape. It fires but jams quite a bit. I think a little more polishing of the inner rails and toggle train will help with that. Once it functions fairly well I am going to attempt bluing it myself.
The upper is a 1920/1917 #6594, the barrel is #3719-a, and the lower is ??566, the safety is marked "RUST" in the firing position.
If anyone is interested in the left overs let me know and I will take better pictures of them. The barrels are all rough inside and two have the collars ruined. The disconnector pin is stuck in one of the sear bars. One sideplate appears to be a repro and not numbered.
