At the very least, soak it in pentrating oil for a couple of weeks (without the mag bottom, then clean it up and reassemble it.

You can post it in the for sale forum with the information that it needs repair... there are those who do have the tools to salvage this mag, and maybe you could trade it as partial payment for a good one.
