Henry, as a born Virginian and hunter I can say that your summary of our game laws in the 1990's is a bit exaggerated but we are overrun with an out of control deer population, black bear are thriving and Canada geese have reached a nuisance level that used to be reserved for city pigeons. The only weak historical game species is quail and that is due to modern farming practices not over hunting.
