Just bought a luger. I bought it to shoot, it looks to have parts from two guns. I thing the mag must be after market as there are no marking on it. I've taken it apart cleaned it up and have shot it. It has some bugs and I was hoping they may sound familiar to someone. First I don't seem to have a lock open latch on this gun. Were they ever made without this? The action will hang up on the mag once in awhile. When it does this I can give a tug on the bottom of the mag and the action will close. Thought this may be due to the missing latch. The other bug is I can not work the action with the safety on unless the firing pin is already cocked. This seems odd to me, is it normal?
