Default Have you considered buying them ready made?

It would probably be less expensive than the time necessary to shape them properly... hand work is expensive.


Tom Heller (see links and resources to the left) carries them I am sure, as well as others and there is no hand labor involved.


Another possibility is P38 front sights that are exactly the same dovetail size as Luger sights and they are available in different heights to make elevation changes if necessary for a fixed sight pistol like the Luger.


You can taper them to inverted V shape like original Luger sights it you wish, or if your Luger is not a collectible, you can open up the rear v-notch to square shape and have an even better sight picture than any original Luger sights...
