You assume correctly about the toggle marked "42"... you can have a much better evaluation if you will post photographs of top, both sides, and the front of the frame, and the bottom of the barrel... where the stamps are located... make sure the photos are in good light with minimum glare and in sharp focus... members of the forum will be glad to help you understand your Luger step-child.
