Here is another luger I am looking at in a comming auction . I don't know much about the commercials , gather they were very fine pistols made in the 1920's for the civilian market ? what do they go for in the states ?
Think I would rather a military Bern , but this might do for a start .

SWISS COMMERCIAL LUGER PISTOL: 7.65 Cal; 120mm (4Ã?Â¾") tapered barrel with Swiss cross & shield to breech & d.w.m. to toggle; 7 rnd mag; exc bore; fitted with grip safety; all profiles sharp & markings clear; retaining 95% orig blue finish with wear to side plate & frame; strong straw colours to thumb safety lever, trigger, lock, lock & mag catch; vg chequered walnut grips; all complete; gwo & vg+ cond. Hard to fault. #13925 L/R

$3000 to $3500 ?
