I asked these very same questions when I bought my all matching numbers 1936 S/42. I really wanted to shoot it so, I bought aftermarket parts to replace the originals for when I shoot the gun. The parts I bought are the firing pin, extractor, ejector and a pair of aftermarket black widow grips. Now, I can enjoy shooting my Luger without worrying about breaking the parts that are most vulnerable. I think I spent about $100 for the aftermarket parts. Enjoy your Luger.
