It seems that Luger's biggest contribution to history is

legitimation of automatic (semiauto) pistol in military

application, according to History Channel.

by being first automatic pistol to be adopted by a

major military power of the world.

Do you subscribe to that theory?

btw, it seems the most often seen character on History

Channel is Adolf Hitler. who's middle name is

unknown to me. Yet I have never seen him carrying

a Luger.
