Default More on Webley

As long as we're talking about Webleys...

Thought maybe one of you guys might know. Last year I happened to be standing in the right place at the right time in a local gun shop when the owner pulled a Mark IV .38 from under the counter.

It was mint, and I mean mint in the real sense of the word, perfect in every way, not the "mint" used by some online auctions to describe what is in reality a 75% gun.

Though I have at least one book on Webley, this particular variation is not covered and I find no mention of it anywhere. I did have some prior knowledge of its existence consisting of vague recollections from the 60's.

It is the civilian market model made I believe in the 50's with, of all things, a safety behind the hammer and a very good finish.
