Mauser P.08 â??Kâ? Date S/42 Navy S/N 2408. Eagle over â??Mâ? engraved on left frame panel and â??O.1876â? (Marinestation der Ostsee) property number lengthwise on the front grip strap. This gun was one of 13 reported to Stillâ??s â??Third Reich Lugers and Accessoriesâ?, 1988. There was estimated 300 K Date variation Luger procured by the Kriegsmarine. This piece has been damaged by â??blood rustâ?. One must remember that these weapons were used in war and like most wartime equipment they were used and used with little regard to being kept pristine. â??It is what it is!â?
