Since the VOPO grips are not currently worth much for collecting, I would consider fitting them to your gun. If you are good with your hands, files, sandpaper, and a dremel tool, you should be able to do this pretty easily. Once you have them carefully fitted, you will be very pleased with them as shooter grips... they fit very well in the hand and are very durable.

All Lugers are not alike... there are very slight tolerance differences between the various manufacturers and most grips require some fitting.

Hugh Clark can quote you on what he would currently charge to rehab your wooden grips. Just do a search for any post using the word "grips" and made by "Hugh"... once you locate a post by him, click on the icon at the bottom of the post that looks like two people shaking hands to send him a private message.
