Default Military .22 conversion kit

I collected this .22 military conversion kit along with it's erma K98 .22 conversion equivalent this week.

I know there are post war examples, however, is the waffenant variety common?

It has complete matching numbers #4423a
Eagle over 280 & EE within circle toggle stamp.

Even the two lock nuts are stamped.

A local piece, all from the same gent, who saved them at the end of the occupation.
