GT,
thank you for your private message. I cannot send you the photo by PM, so I post it here. this mag is worth nothing by itself. But the wood bottom has stamps and markings (4. / 55.) which are matching with my MARS pouch, 1917 dated and restamped during Weimar time with the same markings (SD IV. 4. 55). You understand why I consider my mag as very precious...
the broken wood bottom has been strongly and badly glued. I don't know if it can be repaired..and if it needs repairs..thank you for your advice !! christian
