Mr. CROLUGER, that is one fine looking and authentic Tommy gun! One of my personal favorites and one I wish I could afford to purchase. One day, perhaps...

I haven't seen a Thompson go for less than $15,000 in the past year, though I admit I don't follow every one I see for sale. A buddy of mine just bought one (a very nice 1928) for $29,000. He got it because it had an authentic violin case of the type used by gansters. It must be nice it have his money...

Also, as I recall, it's not that difficult to replace the bbl on those...
