Ed,

Do you want photos as well?

Ron
yes, although several stories do not have pictures, they help very much.

Tac, you amaze me, how are you going to go back to the UhK after visiting beautiful indosnesa, I mean Oregon?

here is what I posted on the Japanese forum and Jan's forum;

hello all;

I have been collecting bring back stories since 2002, and I am finally getting to the point where I will publish. I have 132 pages so far, the book will be soft cover and hopefully full color. I have lots of stories of Lugers being brought back, an Indonesian dutch Luger, a G43, an Iraqi pistol and a few others.

Here is what I am looking for;

1. 1-2 page "story" of how it was aquired; this might be that Uncle Bob traded a carton of cigarettes for the Nambu / item in Jan 1946.
2. I would like the story as "first-hand", first person told as possible. A possible made up story from the dealer / collector without any provinance does not appeal to me for this book.
3. 1 - 5 photos of the item, be it, pistol, gas mask, helmet, etc.

I will give full credit to the person who gave me the story (or use a first name if you want to remain fairly annonymous)

And I will use spellcheck and ask a few friends and a proof editor to read it over for me prior to publication, but I will also try and keep the gist / style of the writer as much as possible.
