S. A. Pennsauren sounds like an importer marking; as it is not familiar to me. The Crown N would be a commericial marking and most likey is because it is an east german or russian capture gun. They were kind of a "dipped" finish, so that could explain the matching barrel with the rest of the gun.

If you can show us the crown N, we might be able to tell if it is a pre-war crown N (not likely unless an older barrel) or post war, they used the crown n marking.

As Rylan said, pictures would help a lot.
