Although it was heavily buffed, I'm not sure why tac feels a chamber date was buffed off. This Luger is C/N proofed, sn 2602n and at least one of the photos shows it was numbered in the commercial manner. I think it likely that this is a commercial Alphabet DWM produced in 1924 and never had a chamber date. My two cents.
