Never, Never shoot someone else's hand loaded ammo...

Back when I was younger and dumber I bought a U.S. Navy marked Victory model M&P at a buy and sell place. The guy gave me two boxes of hand loaded .38 Spec. with it. The first 5 rounds went something like POP, BANG, POP, CRACK,BOOM, the last round bowed the top strap cracked the crane and bent the ejector rod. I took it back to the store. The guy shrugged his shoulders and said "I didn't tell you they were safe to shoot."
