Nick, I can say the washers look to be original but I have strong reservations about the stock strap itself. Even the very early ones I have observed have a totally different shape. The shape has never changed to the best of my knowledge. The normal original shape was for a reason, to accomodate the passage of the carry strap thru the stock it is thinner and expands to allow the closure strap to be threaded thru a keeper before it is affixed to the stud.
The only difference I have observed is not in the shape but in how the keeper strap is affixed. On very early straps, stock, toe and boot, they stitched them. Later they used hand hammered rivets with a small washer.
Unless someone more knowledgable than myself claims otherwise I would not hang my hat on this being anything but an old and adequate attachment but dertainly not original to this fine military holster and stock example.
