Default Were the same type of wood used on the the grip during the entire production.

I seemsthe wooden grips on my 1900 Test Luger has a more striking beauty, as my 1906 French luger and my 1920, 9mm Luger Carbine.Was this done intentonally the impress a potential buyer, like the inscribed Eagle. Or did a mere difference in finishes have anything to do with the result.
