I have often wondered about stock lugs. Pondered it endlessly....

Now I know, thanks to an on-line auction.

"This is a rare model of DWM Military 9mm Luger without a stock lug. IT WAS ISSUED TO A HIGH RANKING OFFICER WHO DID NOT NEED A SHOULDER STOCK"

It was so simple, I just couldn't see the forest for the trees...

Boy! Do I feel stupid...or what?
