Have you tried to scan the items?
If not here is how I get some pretty good scans.

Place the items face down on the scanner.
Spread a Tee shirt over them.
Copy as is with scanner cover up and examine the print out for shadows behind the objects.
If these shadows are too dark try placing a 40-watt light directly over the tee shirt about 1.5 feet above, again the cover is up.
Scan with this backlight on and adjust the backlight up, down, or sideways to correct shadows in printout.
A little experimenting will usually result in pretty good results.
Scans are made through use of your photo scanning software. After scanning and editing your items save the result as file name.JPG (example ( Luger001.jpg))
When transmitting your E-mail Use the attachment option for these files that you wish to send.
NOTE : Your scans for the Forum must not exceed 80 k bytes in JPG format.
You will have to adjust your scan DPI, scan area, or both to arrive below this figure.
