I wonder if the D.R.P.A. marking refers to a Deutches Reich Patent Document.

Reading from the copy of the patent document provided earlier in this thread,, does Deutches ReichPatentAmt make any sense vis-a-vis these initials on the shotgun?

I have a .22 caliber, bolt action, single shot Mauser ES340 B (and am looking for an ES 350 B) and it has D.R.G. D.R.G.M. which indicate, according to literature, that design aspects of the rifle were protected in German patent rules.
